Diddy Kong Racing was the first game I bought for my N64. It is a very good game. Many people debate between which is better, DKR or Mario kart. I really haven't got a clue. But either way, it is a great game.

The graphics are amazing, and it plays like a treat. The game varies in the three different vehicles that are available (kart, hovercraft and aeroplane) each has different handling etc. There are many tracks, and the game has an interesting and challenging structure, which I wont go into, but basically this game has great longevity.

The multiplayer (which thanks to Goldeneye I haven't played much anyway) is great too.

I really wouldn't know where to start…

• To get a turbo start press accelerate as the 'get ready' writing fades. The longer you leave it the stronger the boost. (But if you wait too long you'll miss it altogether.)
• When going over a zipper, let go of the accelerate for a super turbo.
